Today was really fucked up. My mom caused me to have an anxiety attack in the car while driving me to my internship at the reptile zoo. so all day i was crying off and on, and felt nauseous. Until i could get home at 5 (i got there at 10:30) i had a headache and my stomach was hurting. I couldn’t concentrate on work, and then when i got home they forced me to clean my room, interrupted that to make me go out to eat with them, (still crying off and on and with physical systems of feeling sick) then work more on my room before they would let me go to corwins house. I’m home again now and starting to feel a little better. I was too upset to talk to my parents but i explained to them in a text (verbalizing my problem usually leads to tears) and even after my parents didn’t even apologize for fucking GIVING ME AN ANXIETY ATTACK. so almost my whole day was miserable and i’m STILL getting aftershocks. The worst part is, what set me off is that they threatened to force me to sell my snakes. MY ANIMALS ARE MY COPING MECHANISM FOR STRESSES LIKE THESE. I couldn’t use that this time because trying to hold my babies just made me want to cry. So basically i was presented with an extremely stressful situation at the beginning of the day, it still isn’t resolved and I have no real way to cope with it except look at things on the internet that cheer me up, and talk to corwin. Fucking thanks, guys. Really great of you. And then they give me that ‘what’s wrong with you?!’ look when I don’t want them to touch me. What the fuck do you think? So now i’m sitting in my room emotional eating and pissed off, with a stomach ache from anxiety.

Ok wow LOTS has happened lately and i’ve been ignoring tumblr a little i’m sorry D:

Reptile/animal stuff:

Runako shed ALL IN ONE PIECE so proud of my good boy <3 i now have full Ru & Duvessa sheds. waiting on you, Lamia.
Amity is mellowing out a little! My grumpy pancake is becoming a slightly less grumpy pancake.
The newts are all fine now, no recurrence of the mold. (did I mention this before? a weird mold killed some of my newts ;n;) Eating well, and often, pooping, everything normal.
i bought 3 guppies from petsmart to breed as feeders for other stuff. I asked for 1 male and 3 females… i got 2 males and one female =.=; idjits… well the female was pregnant too, and spewed her offspring out right as i got home, so i guess that’s a plus.
I caught a bluefin sunfish with my net in the creek. going to catch two or so more and give ‘em to a friend as a present. She has big tanks for them.

school things:

So, havent gotten my senior exit essay back yet, or the results from the APAH exam that i was flipping shit about. Still nervous about all that business. I need to catch up in some classes too.
reptile club had a field trip today and we caught a fucking RAVEN. Its primaries were oooobviously clipped, poor thing, couldn’t fly. It must have been someones pet. We’re going to get it to a rehab center, hopefully. (this COULD go under reptiles but otherwise the school list would be fairly empty xD)
i am just so ready for school to be over. =.=

me stuff:

Over the weekend, I got bad poison ivy on both my arms, neck, the sides of my face a little bit, one boob, and one knee. Bleh! I went to the ER and got steroids and antihistamines, though, which have stopped the itching right up, and it’s no longer spreading. I’ll have some scarring from the rash but i don’t care, i’m just thankful the medicine made the itching STOP.
I started applying for internships this summer. I applied to Discovery Place and CBE reptile Zoo to start off with, and…. I scored both! :D I still have to show up and show them my stuff at the zoo but i’m very confident they’ll take me on.
my family had a free upgrade on our phone plan, so i got an iphone, sort of as a reward for scoring both internships. I’m pleased with it so far, i thought it wouldn’t be as fun/useful as it is!
I got a BC implant (implanon) in my arm, the size of a matchstick. This will hopefully have the same effect as the pill without me having to take it every day, lol. Its supposed to lighten, or stop my period altogether, though it can do the opposite, which would suck because the point of me taking the pill in the first place was to lighten my heavy and excruciating periods… it lasts 3 years, too!
I’m actually happy, consistently, for the first time in a while. Usually the day starts of neutral and can swing wither way, but i’ve been going on an elevated note now, with the occasional anxiety interruption for stuff like exams. I’m pleased with this.

uh ok that’s all i can think of now. what has been going on in your lives? I missed you guys. :3
